Mr. Zhang has extensive experience in the areas of construction, real estate, litigation and arbitration, trust and asset securitization, and corporate legal services. 

In the areas of construction and real estate, Mr. Zhang has advised real estate companies in the areas of construction and real estate acquisition, development and construction including due diligence, deal structure design, participation in project negotiation, and drafting and revising various kinds of cooperation agreements for real estate companies such as Cinda Real Estate, China Ocean Property Development, Xinhua Real Estate Development, Zishi Real Estate, Hopson Real Estate, Fortune Real Estate, Lippo Real Estate and China Construction First Bureau. Mr. Zhang’s services include due diligence, deal structure design, participation in project negotiation, and drafting and revising all kinds of cooperation agreements. In addition, Mr. Zhang also advised Beijing New Energy, China Hang Real Estate, Huadian Coal industry on the whole process of photovoltaic, wind power generation, PPP projects and other construction projects. In the aspect of litigation, Mr. Zhang has undertaken numerous and complicated litigations and cases involving project quality, project price settlement, cost and engineering quantity appraisal, breach of construction period, modification and claims, and disputes over commercial housing sales contracts. 

In the area of litigation and arbitration, Mr. Zhang has represented cases involving equity investment disputes, shareholders' valuation adjustment mechanism (VAM) agreement disputes, equity agency holding disputes, return of land use right disputes, supply contracts disputes, financing trade (circular trade) disputes, commercial housing sales contracts disputes, instruments disputes, and corporate bankruptcy/deregistration liquidation disputes. Mr. Zhang is good at summarizing focus issues, designing litigation programs and providing targeted service opinions, so as to help enterprises to avoid potential risks and reduce losses and obtain good service results. Mr. Zhang has served clients including Sinosteel Group, Huadian Coal Industry, Jingneng Group, Fortune Real Estate, China Quality Certification and Authentication Center, Daxing Public Security Bureau, Equity Exchange of China, Chinese Medicine Administration Bureau, etc. 

In the area of trust and asset-backed securitization, Mr. Zhang, combined with his expertise in infrastructure investment and insurance fund application, specializes in transaction structure design, drafting of related legal documents and due diligence in the areas of infrastructure and real estate, and has extensive practice in relevant areas. Mr. Zhang has advised Shanghai Huadian Capital, Taiping Asset Management and CITIC Trust. 

In the area of corporate legal services, Mr. Zhang has provided perennial legal consulting services or specialized consulting services for many large and medium-size state-owned enterprises and government agencies in respect of labor and personnel, taxation, fixed assets investment and disposition, work injury insurance, intellectual property, project construction, transfer and transfer of state-owned assets, etc. Through consulting services, Mr. Zhang is adept at identifying potential legal risks, and providing constructive suggestions on risk investigation and avoidance. The effectiveness of consulting services has been unanimously recognized by relevant enterprises and government organizations.
